Come join the Del-Mi District at our first event of the summer for our new Cub Scouting families--an evening at Belzer Day Camp--on Tuesday, July 14. New Cub Scouts and their families will have the opportunity to shoot BB Guns at targets, run an obstacle course, make a cool craft, and enjoy dinner with other Cub Scouts.
Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM in an outdoor shelter. We'll provide hot dogs, chips, cookies, and "bug juice" (flavored drink mix). At 6:30 PM, we'll begin making our way to the activity stations. Trained camp staff members will be running each station, but every boy should have at least one parent/guardian present. The event will run until we finish all three stations around 8:30 PM. If you need to leave early, please feel free to do so.
For insurance purposes, each participating boy entering the first through fifth grade this fall must be registered members of the Boy Scouts of America. If your son is not registered, please submit the youth application and appropriate fees to your Cub Scout pack leader. You may also submit your application and registration fees at the door. The current fees are $7.65 for registration and $9.00 for Boys' Life per Scout. Many Cub Scout packs also charge participation fees on top of the registration and Boys' Life fees.
If you have already registered to join Cub Scouts, you will only need to pay the $10 activity fee per Scout for this event.
